Merkmale von Link-OS v6.0

Im geschützten Modus können nur berechtigte Nutzer bestimmte Druckereinstellungen ändern.
Über die Download-Steuerung kann festgelegt werden, dass nur berechtigte Nutzer Änderungen an der Betriebssystemversion des Druckers vornehmen können.
Durch den vereinfachten Außerbetriebnahmeprozess ist es jetzt noch leichter, Drucker zwischen Einsätzen zu bewegen oder ältere Drucker mit einem neuen Befehl außer Betrieb zu nehmen. Nach Eingabe dieses Befehls werden alle Einstellungen zurückgesetzt und Nutzerdaten entfernt.
Dank dem Bluetooth-Suchmodus haben ungewollte Verbindungsherstellungen jetzt ein Ende, denn Nutzer können diesen Modus mit nur einem Knopfdruck aktivieren bzw. deaktivieren.
